Sarah Was Supposed to Explore Cape Town.

Here’s the List We Gave Her.

Sarah hasn’t made it very far. We gave her a full list of things to do in Cape Town this April. Markets. Events. Early mornings. Sensible plans. She’s currently still deciding between another coffee… or a nap.

THINGS SARAH MEANT TO DO (BUT HASN’T YET)

13–15 April
World Travel Market Africa
A major event for the travel industry, bringing together professionals from around the world.

18 April
Waterfront Canal Challenge
An early start, a bit of energy, and a scenic way to experience the city.

30 April
Comic Con Cape Town
A must for pop culture fans, creators, and anyone looking for something a little different.

We showed Sarah this list. She nodded. Then ordered another coffee.

THINGS SHE MIGHT ACTUALLY LEAVE THE HOTEL FOR

We’re optimistic. These are the kinds of experiences that might convince her:

29 April
SuidOosterfees
A vibrant celebration of arts, culture, and local talent.
— Autumn walks along the coast — cooler air, fewer crowds, and that golden Cape Town light
— Local markets & slow afternoons — the kind of plans that don’t feel like plans

She says she’ll “definitely go tomorrow.” We’ve heard that before.

THINGS SHE INSISTS COUNT AS “EXPLORING”

We didn’t argue.

— Watching the city from her window as the light changes
— A second (or third) coffee in the same spot
— Room service that arrives exactly when it should
— Sitting still long enough to forget what time it is

She maintains this is “immersive travel.”

ONE THIBAULT · CAPE TOWN

Why staying here changes everything

You’re close enough to experience everything Cape Town has to offer — without ever feeling rushed to do it all. Step out into the city when you want. Step back into comfort when you don’t.

Some guests plan every moment. Others adjust their plans as they go. We accommodate both.

Sarah says she’s heading out tomorrow.
We’ve stopped asking for updates.
